Use Daysift responsibly
Daysift is designed to help you work more efficiently. This policy outlines how we expect you to use it — essentially, don't use it for anything illegal, harmful, or that would damage others or our service.
Permitted Use
You may use Daysift for:
- Searching your own work history and documents
- Creating personal notes and pinning pages for quick access
- Using AI features to find information in your work history
- Personal productivity and legitimate business purposes
Prohibited Use
You must not use Daysift to:
Illegal activities
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Engage in fraud, identity theft, or other criminal activities
- Access systems or data you're not authorised to access
Harmful content
- Store, distribute, or create content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or hateful
- Store content involving the exploitation of minors
- Create or distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
AI misuse
- Attempt to circumvent, bypass, or manipulate AI safety measures
- Use AI features to generate content that violates these guidelines
- Systematically extract or scrape AI outputs for the purpose of training other AI systems
- Misrepresent AI-generated content as human-created
Service abuse
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of Daysift
- Use automated systems or bots to interact with Daysift in unintended ways
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' data
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
- Share your subscription or licence with others not covered by your plan
Content Standards
While Daysift stores data locally on your device, if you use AI features or contact us, any content you provide must:
- Be accurate and not misleading
- Not infringe any intellectual property or privacy rights
- Not contain personal data of others without their consent
- Not be designed to harass, abuse, or harm others
Enforcement
If we believe you've violated this policy, we may:
- Issue a warning
- Temporarily suspend your access to paid features
- Permanently terminate your account and subscription
- Report illegal activity to law enforcement
We'll try to give you notice before taking action, except in cases where we believe immediate action is necessary to protect others or comply with legal requirements.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Daysift after changes means you accept the updated policy.
