These terms govern your use of Daysift, a browser extension provided by V Ventures Group, a company registered in England and Wales.
By installing or using Daysift, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the extension.
Daysift is intended for users aged 16 and over. If you are under 16, you may only use Daysift with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at hello@daysift.com.
You may use Daysift for personal or business purposes, subject to these terms. You agree to:
Daysift offers both free and paid tiers. Free features may be used without payment. Paid features require a subscription through our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy.
We may change which features are free or paid at any time, but we won't remove access to paid features you've already purchased during your subscription period.
All payments are securely processed by Lemon Squeezy, a trusted merchant of record and payment platform used by thousands of software companies worldwide. They handle all payment processing, sales tax, and compliance — we never see or store your payment card details.
Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked.
If you start using the paid features before the 14-day period ends, you may still cancel, but we may deduct a proportionate amount for the service you've used.
To cancel, email us at hello@daysift.com or use the cancellation link in your purchase confirmation.
Daysift stores data locally on your device. We don't have servers storing your browsing data. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how data is handled.
You are responsible for backing up any important data. Uninstalling the extension will delete all locally stored data.
Daysift includes optional AI features — including AI search and writing tools in notes. When you use these features, your content (search query, selected text) and relevant page titles are processed by Groq with Zero Data Retention.
AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. You should independently verify any information before relying on it for important decisions. Daysift is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of or reliance on AI-generated content.
By using AI features, you also agree to Groq's Terms of Use and acknowledge their Privacy Policy.
Note: Groq is an AI inference company, not to be confused with "Grok" (xAI's chatbot).
Daysift and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by V Ventures Group and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on Daysift without our written permission.
Daysift is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We don't guarantee that the extension will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Daysift.
Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We may update, modify, or discontinue Daysift or any features at any time. We'll try to give reasonable notice for significant changes, but we're not obligated to maintain any particular feature.
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the new terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
Continued use of Daysift after changes means you accept the new terms.
You can stop using Daysift at any time by uninstalling the extension and cancelling any subscription.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use Daysift ends immediately.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you may also have rights under the laws of your country of residence.
