Changelog
What we're shipping, release by release.
New
- Optional usage stats — You can now help us make Daysift better by sharing simple usage stats, like how often Daysift and its features are used. This helps us understand what's useful, what isn't, and where to improve. We don't see what you search for, your browsing history, or which sites you visit. There's no name or account attached, and you can turn usage stats off at any time in Settings → Data.
New
- Private AI, now on Proton — Ask AI and page summaries now run on Proton Lumo, based in Europe. Your text isn't used for training, isn't logged, and isn't kept after it answers. Your history stays on your device, as always.
- Google Workspace filters — Sheets, Slides, and Forms each get their own filter pill instead of all sitting under Docs.
Improvements
- Expanded search results — Free users now see 12 results (was 8); Pro users see 30 with "Show more" to load up to 100.
- Search all your history — Free users can now search all-time history, not just the last 14 days.
- Faster first experience — History import shows results almost instantly (first 200 items load immediately, the rest in the background).
Fixes
- Pinned items restored —
/pinsnow shows all your pinned pages, even if they weren't in recent results. - Fixed an edge case where the "work" filter could apply by default.

- What's New notifications — when we ship notable features, a bell appears in the footer so you never miss them.
- Stay in the loop — optional email signup for new features and tips.
- Smart classification — Daysift decides what to index using heuristics, not just a static allowlist.
- Mixed-use domain support — YouTube tutorials and Reddit programming threads are indexed; cat videos and memes are not.
- Domain learning prompts — if you often visit a site that's being excluded, Daysift offers to include it.
- E / I shortcuts — press E to always exclude a domain, I to always include it.
- AI streaming — answers appear word-by-word as they're generated.
- Hybrid shopping detection — e-commerce pages are detected and kept out of your history.
